Tempting Fate Revue is a partnership of writers, producers, and performers. The live band, all songwriters, plays original R&B,Hip Hop with soul, Latin and rock flavors. The rhythm section backs a featured front line of young, talented vocalists. The songs are created in close partnership with Boston's Sanctum Sound Studio. Tempting Fate includes three award-winning songwriters and Eguie Castrillo, the renowned Grammy-winning percussionist.
Tempting Fate was nominated for Best R&B Group in the 2005 Phoenix “Best Of” Poll and Best Live Hip Hop group at the Boston Hip Hop Awards.
The group's political song "Headlines" was named Top 5 Hip Hop/R&B Songs of the Year for 2004 by the Great American Song Contest, which is run by the nation's largest songwriters' association.
Tempting Fate likes to give back and has raised over $10,000 for charities such as La Alianza Hispana, Kids in Disability Sports, Aids Action Committee and Religions for Peace. The band performs frequently in clubs such as Axis, Milky Way Lounge, Western Front, Blue Wave, and Paradise.
